Open day in Cleveleys

A lovely day
in Cleveleys

This page is really about people. It is about the lovely, genuine local community who came through the door, the warm conversations, the smiles, the families, and the feeling that Ear Clear Nurse has started exactly where it belongs — right here in Cleveleys.

It was also a real privilege to welcome special guest Steve Royle, as seen on Britain's Got Talent, who officially opened the clinic and brought so much warmth, humour and personality to the day.

More than anything, the open day confirmed the kind of place I want this to be: calm, friendly, professional, and rooted in the local community from the very beginning.

A day to remember

Friendly faces, warm conversations, and a lovely local welcome.

The open day was about more than a ribbon cutting. It was a chance to meet people properly, show the space, answer questions, and make the clinic feel open and approachable from the very start.

Time to talk properly

One of the nicest parts of the day was being able to meet people properly, answer questions, and make the clinic feel open, calm and welcoming from the start.

Showing people the space

Guests were able to look around, see the setup, and get a feel for the kind of welcoming, reassuring environment I want every appointment to have.

Steve Royle helped make the day feel truly special

Having Steve Royle there for the official opening brought such a brilliant energy to the day. He made people laugh, put everyone at ease, and added a real sense of occasion without ever making it feel formal or stiff.

That warm, relaxed tone is exactly what mattered most. It was a reminder that professional care does not need to feel cold — it can still feel friendly, personal and rooted in real local connection.

It was a lovely way to officially open the clinic and start this next chapter in Cleveleys.

Moments from the day

Small moments that said a lot

The best part of the open day was often the simplest one — people smiling, chatting, asking questions, or feeling comfortable in the space. That is what I want this clinic to be known for.

These photos capture the atmosphere far better than a long explanation ever could: local people, warm conversation, and a genuine sense of welcome from the moment they arrived.
